Hullo!!!
Oh it's been a while again, hasn't it? We briefly picked up on some internet at home, but no such luck since then. So it's back to updating from coffeeshops! Well, I have pictures from the last I Made It show in Homestead at the Owl's Club. Lots of people showed up, but Althea and I didn't really do too well. I heard the same from lots of other sellers I talked to; I guess people already had done their Christmas shopping! No matter, I always have fun just hanging out. It's worth it to me if people just admire my work, which many of them did. I did make enough to not have a loss, so that's always good!
So I have those pictures and a couple from Christmas presents I made people this year. Also, as an unofficial announcement, it looks like I will have a table at Tekkoshocon in Artist's Alley this year. I haven't heard word back from them yet, but I'm pretty sure I'm in. So if you like anime, comics, graphic novels, etc., come check it out, even for a day. It's in Greentree at the Radisson this year, and it's surprisingly well priced. It's something like $45 for the whole three days. Not bad! We went last year and had lots of fun. There are lots of talents artists there selling their creations, and I look forward to being on of them! I have some great ideas planned out for this one!!! Pictures coming soon for the first designs! Actually, one of the Christmas prezzies shown below will probably be available at the con...
In other news, Maria got a digital camera for Christmas! This is great for me because I can finally take pictures of my items without them turning out all crazy blurry! Thanks to Althea for the nice digi pictures shown below. Go check out her etsy page (linked through her name). Mine will be available shortly! It's all set up and just needs the pictures! Soon, I promise!
Ok, now on to the piccies!
I Made It! Craft Show at the Homestead Owl's Club:

My section of the table.

All the scarves together.

Two thin scarves (the tan one sold), a small fashion scarf and some hanging towels.

My two wavy scarves; a new design of mine that turned out really cool!

The black and white wavy scarf, the shell stitch scarf and the rainbow scarf. The second picture showcases the rainbow scarf.

We had a hard time getting good closeups of the shell stitch scarf (the yarn is called Banana Berry), so we took lots of them! It's one of my favorite scarves right now, and it took a long time to make! Lots of detail!

Althea's cute little price chart for her candles! I loved it!
Christmas Presents:

I made this scarf for my grandma, and she loved it! It incorporates the wavy patterns with a little more stitches and some filet crochet in the middle. She was wearing it the next time I saw her. I think the yarn was called Chocolate Cherry or something like that. It was a great color combo since I didn't know what color her coat was. Something a little girly with some neutral tones.

This is a purse I made for Maria's sister, Angela. It's black with red detailing (although the pictures warped the colors a bit). I really like the design around the top; it's the first time I tried it finish a purse with that exact stitch combo. The design, for those of you non-Naruto fans, is the sharingan symbol that is used in the anime series Naruto. Some characters have eyes that look like that:

So look forward to seeing more like that at Tekkoshocon. I'm pretty sure Angela liked the purse, too. :)
Okay, that's all for now. I will post as soon as my etsy and/or myspace pages are up and running. Until then, have a great New Year's!!!
